Santa Arrives By Tugboat

Santa Claus is coming to town and so is Mystic’s Holiday Lighted Boat Parade in Historic Downtown Mystic on November 26, 2022. Christmas Tree Lighting is at 6pm with the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade to follow. This event has become a beloved tradition in Mystic over the years– don’t miss out on being part of the festivities by sponsoring our candy canes, parade & more! The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center will be on site to collect unwrapped toy donations for the holidays. Come out and support a great cause!
Holiday Lighted Boat Parade
Saturday, November 26, 2022 | 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM
Following Santa arriving by tugboat and the lighting of the Mystic River Park Christmas tree, spectators flood both sides of the Mystic River to see the decorated and decked out boats pass by.
Decorated vessels will parade down the Mystic River just after 6pm and return to the Mystic River Park, where spectators and judges will be gathered. Boats will be judged on creativity and team spirit. There will be prizes for ‘Most Charismatic Crew’, ‘Innovative Vessel’, ‘Best Dressed Vessel’, ‘Most Holiday Spirit’ and ‘Miss Mystic Vessel of Grandeur’.
Downtown Mystic Holiday Stroll & Luminaria 2022
Tuesday, December 6, 2022 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Stroll the festive streets of Historic Downtown Mystic and listen to the carolers rejoice in the holiday spirit as Santa makes his way through the hustle and bustle!
Merchants will keep their shops open late so everyone can get a head start on their holiday shopping while enjoying hot cider, cookies and other goodies in the stores.
This is a community event, free of charge and open to the public.
Santa is Coming to the Village!

FREE EVENT: Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 4 – 6 PM, and on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 1 – 3 PM at Nature’s Art Village! Only 20 minutes from Mystic, CT! Take unforgettable pictures and create family memories that last a lifetime. Little ones can tell Santa their dream wishes, and Mrs. Claus, who also is a balloon artist, will surprise them with twisted balloons. NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED!
