114 Boardwalk, Groton Long Point Connecticut
My wife and I rented the cottage at 114 Boardwalk at Groton Long Point for the month of September. It was easily the best vacation that we ever had. In real estate, they say that the three most important things are location, location and location. The location was perfect. We were perhaps 50 feet from the water and I swam every day. Each morning when we awoke, my wife and I would look at each other and say, “I love this place”!!! We invited family members and friends to join us and for two evenings we had seven guests. This was not a problem because the cottage has five bedrooms and can sleep eleven. Almost every room has a great view and we loved going to sleep at night to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Included with the cottage were two kayaks and four bicycles. We also had cable TV and a Wi-fi connection. There were plenty of dishes and cleaning supplies too. There is a lot to do in the area and we took advantage of it. We visited Clyde’s Cider Mill in Mystic, the Nautilus submarine in nearby Groton, Watch Hill and Newport, Rhode Island. This was a great place to vacation and we plan to go back again. We also had our security deposit returned promptly.
