Masons Island is located at the mouth of the Mystic River within the town of Stonington. Masons Island is a private gated community along Fishers Island Sound and Long Island Sound. Known for outstanding boating, MI has a private yacht club with limited membership.
Mason’s Island is mostly classified as a luxury destination but not all the homes are Luxury Homes. The north side of the island is primarily waterfront or water views. However it is public access with several public marinas. The south side of the island is a true, gated community. There is a guard that stays at the gate during peak season and limits access to the private roads. The contours of the island maximize the number of waterfront properties.
